Shopping at one of our Events

Why not come along and spend a little time browsing the many items that other lovely parents have for sale.

Entrance to each event only costs £1 per adult and children under 12 come in for free.

There are many benefits to visiting one of our events and here are just a few.

Save yourself money and grab a bargain!

Having children can be expensive so why not buy the things that you need for a fraction of the price.

Items sold at our events can cost between 30-90% less than you would pay on the high street.

You will be surprised at what you find and you will definitely find some fabulous deals!

Doing a little bit to help

By choosing to purchase preloved items you are not only saving yourself money, you are also being kinder to the planet.

Re-using, re-wearing and re-loving items is a great way to be sustainable and helps to reduce the amount of items that could possibly end up in landfill.

Save Time

Save time searching online, sending messages to sellers, paying postage fees and having to go and collect packages.

Everything you need will be in one place and you are able to take it straight home.

Try before you buy

Sellers can answer all of your questions and give you great insight into how things work because they have used the items themselves.

Buying face to face also gives you the opportunity to try before you buy and ask for demonstrations.

Better than shopping online

Unlike shopping for preloved items online, buying at one of our events gives you a chance to see, handle and examine items directly.

This is a great opportunity to feel fabrics, check sizes and test how things work before making your buying decision.

Tips for shoppers

Check Online

Check our online social media pages for updates about the sales that you are visiting. We will post photos and information about the different types of items you will find at the event.

We will also be getting photos from sellers so that we are able to give you an idea of what parents have for sale.

These will be updated regularly, particularly in the week leading up to the sale, so make sure you have a look.

Bring Cash

As this is a face to face sale with parents on the day our stallholders will only be able to take cash.

Please make sure that you don't forget to bring some with you or visit the cashpoint before you come. Where possible try to bring change and smaller notes to pay for items, our stallholders will thank you for it.

Ask Questions

Sellers will welcome any questions that you have. As you are shopping face to face its a great opportunity to ask questions about and for particular items that you may be looking for.

Don't be afraid to ask for a demonstration or a description of what things do, don't forget they know best because they have used it!

Items are sold as seen so make sure you have fully checked the items that you have purchased before leaving the event

Take your time

The majority of sellers bring many different items. Take your time to look carefully at each stall for items that you may like and talk to sellers directly.

It is also a good idea to revisit stalls a couple of times as you may see something that you missed the first time.

Choose the best time to shop

Each event lasts for a total of 2 hours. If you are looking for something specific it is a good idea to get to the sale early.

But keep in mind this may mean that you will have to queue. However, this also means that you will be one of the first to browse items and get what you want!

If you don't have anything particular in mind and just want to browse then visiting the event midway is a good idea. It will be less busy and you will find it easier to take a look at your leisure.

Some sellers may discount items towards the end of the event. This is why it is a good idea to revisit stalls and take your time as you may be able to nab an even bigger bargain!

Visit different Kid and Kaboodle events

No two Kid and Kaboodle events are the same. Different sellers will have different items so there will always be bargains to be had.

Keep on eye on our social media posts and website to check when events are taking place near you.

What better way to spend a couple of hours on a weekend browsing items and finding things that you need close to home for a great price.
