What happens at a Kid and Kaboodle sale? 

  • Events are organised at different venues. These venues are generally large halls that provide good space and are located in central places within the community. 
  • Events are heavily advertised around the local area and online. 
  • Events will usually take place on Saturdays or Sundays and last for two hours each time.
  • Time before and after is provided for stall holders to set-up and pack away items. 

How much does a stall cost? 

  • Stalls cost between £15-25 per sale, depending on the hire cost of venue. 
  • Stall costs need to be paid at the point of booking your stall, prior to the sale taking place. There are limited number of stalls at all sales, so be quick to book your spot!
  • This is the only amount that you will need to pay. Any profit that you make from selling items at the event is 100% yours to take away with you on the day. 

What does my booking include?

  • Your stall booking includes a guaranteed space for selling your items at you chosen event. 
  • Your stall includes use of a large trestle table and chairs. 
  • There will also be a small space on the side of your stall which can be used to display larger items or position a small clothing rail, should you wish to bring one. 
  • All of our events are covered by public liability insurance. 

Who can sell?

  • Anyone can sell at an event as long as the items you have fit the selling description and are preloved items.
  • There is a limit of two people per stall. This can be anyone e.g. mum and dad, mum and grandma, two friends who have stuff to sell, it is totally up to you.  
  • Please note anyone wishing to sell business products e.g. handmade children's goods or toys will need to contact us directly to discuss the opportunities of doing this. ​

How many items can I bring? 

  • There is no limit on how much you can bring but as the saying goes 'less is more.' It is a good idea not to bring too many items and not to overload your stall with piles of stuff.
  • Buyers need to see and handle items with ease and if your items are clear and well presented you are likely to get more sales. 
  • The selling space is limited so please be weary of bringing too much, don't forget you will just have to take it home with you if it doesn't sell. 
  • Be realistic, you will not be able to sell every item you have at one event, so do not bring everything! 

How do I present my items?

  • There are many different ways to present  items that you have and presentation is key to selling and making a good profit. 
  • Prior to the sale taking place anybody who has booked a stall will receive some trusty hints and tips about selling, pricing and stall organisation. We want you to have fun at your event and make as much money as possible. These tips have been written to help you get the most out of your selling experience.
